Driver cyberlink webcam please - HP Compaq Presario CQ50-110US Laptop

go to start menu/all programs/accessories/run and type regedit into the box and hit o.k.
Then go through the list and delete anything that has cyberlink in it's name...then close the window and restart the computer.
This will stop your computer from automatically starting any cyberlink programs that are hiding away.

i have read that windows 7 should not need special drivers
please look in device manager to see if the webcam is there under imaging devices
if it is marked as webcam 101 then they say just download newer version of cyberlink yocam

What type of computer do you have? A Desktop or a Laptop?

If you have a Laptop, please make sure that the webcam is enabled. Some Laptop have a feature to enable/disable the webcam (example: Lenovo [Press Fn+Esc to enable/disable the webcam]).

Try to reinstall the webcam driver using the drivers disc. If you don't have the drivers disc, you can download it from the computer / webcam manufacturer's web site (example: support.dell.com).

Try also to reinstall the cyberlink youcam software using the drivers disc or you can download it from the computer or webcam manufaturer 's website.

driver's are needed for every hardware see your webcam model company and search for it's driver on google for egxample if cyberlink youcam search on google and download it's original driver from any trusted site like brothersoft etc.

1. Ensure you have the webcam driver installed.
2. Install webcam application i.e Cyberlink Youcam.

you prob have a currupt driver if go to your laptop makes web site and look for drivers download type in your laptop model,, then it should show all the drivers for that model look for the one you need and download and re-install it ,, this should sort out your problem ,, because if the drivers missing or damaged the software wort find it and say what its saying to you now
