Hello, when I insert a CD (normally purchased) into my Fiat Punto Grande stereo it displays "CD ERROR", ejects the CD then displays "AUX" (the tuner still works). I would be grateful if anyone has any idea what the problem is, thank you.

Yes that should work for you, you just need a cable that will convert the mini-stereo jack of the mp3 player to an RCA jack if the aux input is an RCA input. If it is the same 3.5mm size then you only need a 3.5 mm male to 3.5 mm make cable. Make sure when you first plug it in, the mp3 player volume is turned down low and you can adjust it higher after the is working for you. You don't want to input too big of a signal into the car stereo at first. then you should adjust it so that it is about the same volume as the radio is at. You don't want to blow up the amp ic in the radio or the pre-amp ic for the aux input.

Got an ONN TV and an ONN soundbar. Hooked up via RCA cable. TV audio in PCM mode. Soundbar in AUX mode. Can't get any sound from soundbar. What have I missed?

PCM mode is a digital audio file that should be sent to the soundbar via an optical or coaxial digital audio cable. The coaxial digital audio cable uses an RCA plug but not the L/R stereo channels of analog audio. The aux input is usually the 3.5 MM cable from a computer, CD or MP3 player or a cell phone or tablet.

First, which type of RCA cable is connected between the sound bar and the TV? Second, are you sure that the TV connection is an audio out? (A number of recent TVs have only one audio output. This means there is only the optical audio out and not even a headphone jack.)

Once you double-check the input at the sound bar, choose the Line In input if you are using the stereo RCA cable. If you are using the Optical input, select that input. Use either the Mode button or the specific input button on the remote. Then double-check that the TV is set for the appropriate audio out.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model of the TV and the sound bar for further information. I looked at the ONB18SB001 documentation for some of this. The manual for this Onn soundbar is available at Manuals Lib. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1498038/Onn-Onb18sb001.html?page=12#manual for the list of input modes and the input to which they correspond. Here is the image of the inputs on the back of the ONB18SB001: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1498038/Onn-Onb18sb001.html?page=7#manual .

Can this be connected to the aux port of a car radio? how via USB or ear bud jsck?

Usually If the car has an existing audio jack port you should be able to use an audio cord that has a male audio jack on both ends and it should work. Just make sure your on the right output selection on the car stereo. (Such as aux, cd, tuner,)

How do I get the MP3 player to work in a 2007 Nissan Quest?

you said CAN , i bet you meant CAN'T or CAN NOT. right?
the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,
Target, most MP3 players, come with this cable,
they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)

I have a technics stereo system and im trying to run a lead from my phone to the input and play music through it but i cannot find a input on the stereo model number sa-eh790

I'm going to assume you mean a cell phone or other device with a headset output...

Anything that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input. Get a cable like the one described here:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=665&seq=1&format=2

and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono". Turn the MP3 player volume up.

Honda Accord - AUX Connectivity/Supports

The AUX cables are just an input to the stereo, and it doesn't matter what format your music player uses. If you do need to change the cables to accept a different mp3 player, all of this is usually done in the wiring on the back of the stereo. hope this helps you.

Can I plug my MP3 player into the aux. socket on my car radio, with the appropriate cable and play the stored music?

You should be able to do that as long as you have the right cable.

Most of the mp3 players have a "mini-stereo" jack (3.5mm) and some car stereos have the same type of jack for "aux" input, and others car stereos have RCA jacks for the "aux" input.

Even if the jacks are not the same type, you can use an adapter cable that converts the mini-stereo jack to an RCA jack. You can find them at many places like Best Buy, Circuit City or Radio Shack.

Depending on the type of car stereo you have, you would normally press the source button to change between the tuner, cd player, aux or whatever you may have connected to the stereo. You may even have a seperate button to press for the "aux" input.

I hope this was helpful to you, if you need more information just ask, and please give more info on the type of mp3 player and the make and model number of the car stereo.
