Purchased a Polaroid x800 camera and can not transfer photos to computer (and I have tried 3 computers - 2 running XP Pro and 1 running Windows 7). Upon connecting the USB cable it shows up as a removable disk (G: on my computer) but when I go to open the file/drive I get a pop-up that states "Please insert a disk into drive G:". I called Polaroid and the only help offered was to take the camera back. Target gladly exchanged but I have the same issue with a second camera. Anyone got a clue?

XP and windows 7 are different Operating System different code

1. Reinstall the camera drivers on PC.

2. Restart the PC.

3. Goto 'My Computer' and check whether it is showing your Camera as a "Removable Disc".

4. Try again to connect the USB to PC.
