Re: PSU Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W RT This power supply was purchased through Newegg.com on 5 August 2010. It was installed into an Antec 200 Case in the same month. It has operated flawlessly until 1 November 2010. At that time the computer was online and running until it suddenly switched off. There were no power surges or any other irregularities. This computer containing the above mentioned Antec PSU has been plugged into an APC Backup-UPS 1500 which is in perfect working order to this day. In fact it is running another Antec build with an Antec 550 W PSU which is in perfect running condition. When I found that the computer containing the 520 W PSU powered off I tried to start it but there was no response. I replaced the 520 W PSU with an Antec 380 W PSU NEO ECO unit which started the PC immediately. I can only conclude that the 520 W power supply is faulty and needs to be replaced without charge to me with an equal or similar PSU. The 520 W PSU does not respond at all. The fan does not run nor is it capable of running at all. Thank you for your prompt remedy to this problem. Kenneth Johnston, [email protected] 530-283-9036 199 Shelley Lane, Apt. A Quincy, CA 95971

I agree with you about the power supply being faulty. Unfortunately FixYa is not affiliated with Antec nor sells or service any computer components.
You need to contact the supplier who sold you the power supply or contact Antec.

Where can I find power supply for HP model ATX300-12ZBD

There are lots of ATX power supplies on the market. You do not need to use a HP 300 watt power supply. Just purchase one that suit your requirements - 300 watt or more. These power supplies have standard mounting holes.

In an antec basiq BP 500u PSU does the molex connectors have the same voltage in each wire as the sata connectors

If you are looking to find out if you can power a SATA drive with an older power supply. The answer is yes. You can buy the adapter from sites like newegg.com and tigerdirect.com etc. They are about 5-10 dollars.

Hope this helps.

Ive antec pc case with twin 550 psu's there are five sockets

The Power supply willhave to pin #16 connected to pin #15 for an ATX power connector. It would bebest to purchase a Power Supply Tester for about $20.00, which will test allvoltages with a load and give you a go or no go signal. If you want to use ameter to check voltages, here is a link for the pin outs.

How can I test my Antec True 380sp is working properly

Would you like to do a full scale test or just see if it turns on?

Just to see if it turns on just hotwire it!
http://www.overclock.net/faqs/96712-how-jump-start-power-supply-psu.html

For a full scale test you need to buy one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&Description=power%20supply%20tester&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&Order=PRICE

Or if you have the patience you can use a multimeter.

My processor has two fans the upper one doesn't work at all.

Is the upper fan in your power supply?

Your computer actually has 3 fans, one attached to the back of the case, one on the processor, and one in the power supply.

At any rate, fans are cheap. Go to Mwave.com, newegg.com, zipzoomfly.com, tigerdirect.com,.......you get the idea.

Measure your fan, preferably in mm or cm, and order several of the proper sizes and replace all three.
