Gibberish on the Front Screen

Unplug it, then when you plug it back in it is on the default screen for set time, turn dial to right for hours will advance up starts at 00, advanced to 01, 02, and same for min. when you are at say 9 press / push in main knob 1x to advance to minutes, and advances to next input so hours, minutes, then am pm pushing button after dialing to am or pm finishes and sets the time. If the display is blank, and the oven works, 9 times out of 10 it is a problem with the circuit board that drives the display.

Try opening your microwave and look around for sensors.

Unplug the microwave oven for 60 seconds to reset microprocessor, hopefully this will cure the problem.

Most likely a blown fuse inside the MW. It will be on the control board or on the incoming power line inside the cabinet.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes and try it again.

If it's still not working, it may have a failed keypad or a problem with the controller.

If you see no panel on the inside of the unit, you will have to remove the housing.
If it isn't high-mounted, this isn't difficult; there are 3-5 screws around the edge of the back panel that keep the metallic housing in place. Once these are removed, lift the rear flange of the housing and tilt it forward, then pull it back toward you to release the front lip.
As a precaution; unplug the oven overnight since there are components that can keep a nasty electrical charge for hours, maybe not life-threatening but highly unpleasant.

You might have set the child lock. Look in the manual. It is on P.36 in my manual.

dis connect from power alow to reset for about a minute . if not there are switches behind the door probably not making good contact make sure door is closed tightly
