I am looking for the code for my Visio Sound Bar to program into my Dish Network remote to the AUX button. Has anyone talked with Visio Support to get this code? Thanks.

Use the RECOVER button to get back to watching satelliteprogramming if you accidentally change channels or inputs on your TV. Press POUND. Press & hold the TV Mode button until all Mode buttons light up. To take the remote out of Limited Mode, use the PAGE DOWN button instead of the PAGE UP button in step 2.

1.) Press and hold the clear AUX button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter code and press #. The Aux button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working.

Don't go and search for IR codes as you'll waste your time. Use the learning method. Take your bose remote and put it on a flat surface and point it toward the little square receiver on the dish remote (located on the top left side). Then press the "aux" mode button on the dish remote until all the mode buttons light up and the aux mode light starts to blink. Then press the record button on the dish remote for 3 seconds until the aux mode button lights up and stays lit (it then stays lit during the whole learning program). On the dish remote press the button you want to learn but don't hold it down (I started with the up volume) . Then press the corresponding button on the bose remote but hold that down until the aux mode button blinks once and comes back on (if the mode button blinks three times the dish remote did not learn the command and you should try changing the batteries on the dish remote if it happens repeatedly that it fails to learn). Program the remaining commands by repeating the process of pressing a button on the remote, then pressing and holding the corresponding button on the bose remote. Don't be afraid to do it with the mute and the power buttons too. During this process if you don't press a button for more than 30 seconds it will time out and nothing will be recorded and you will need to start again. To end the programming press the aux mode button. When you are using the bose solo using the dish remote you just need to remember to press the aux mode button first so it flips to command the bose solo.

The instructions for addressing the remote.
1. Press and hold down the AUX button until all the other mode buttons light up.
2. Enter the code 2835.
3. Press the pound(#) button once.
4. Test the functionality of your iLive sound bar.

I don't show we have any codes for the Vizio sound bar. Have you checked your Visio manual for the code; I know that Vizio TVs provide codes for different providers. If you still can't find a code, I have provided instructions on how you can perform a power scan for programming the remote.

Address To Other Equipment Using Power Scan

• Remote: All Remotes (except Basic)
  1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate, then release.
  2. Press and release the Power button. AUX Mode: Before pressing and releasing the Power button
     • Press 0 for a TV
     • Press 1 for a VCR/DVD
     • Press 2 for any other device
     Then Press STAR (*)
  3. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Note: If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
  4. Press the POUND (#) button. Note: If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
     

Hey there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. We unfortunately do not have any codes for our DISH network remote controls that will program a Magnavox digital converter box. An option you can try is a power scan which will basically find the code for you in some cases. I will list here for you the instructions for addressing your DISH remote to your converter box. Instructions for performing a power scan

1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the AUX Mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate, then release.
2. Press and release the # 2 then the STAR (*) button.
   
3. Press and release the Power button.
4. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Note: If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
5. Press the POUND (#) button as soon as the desired equipment powers off. Note: If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

We want to start with pressing and holding the AUX button located onthe top of your DISH Network remote control until all mode button back lights come on, then release. Once the AUX button is blinking, on the numberpad enter 2* then anyone of these codes: 733, 640, 685, or 725. Once thecode as been entered, press the pound (#) button. Check that the code works by trying several differentfunctions on the remote to make sure it properly operates your Philips soundbar. Youdo have the ability to program your current DISH Network remote to all of yourcomponents. If you decide you would like to do so, I have included instructionsto assist you in programming your remote. In order to program your remote toyour DWIN television without the remote code, (I'm sorry unfortunately I wasunable to locate a remote code for a DWIN Tv L) you can complete what we refer to asa "Power Scan," to do this you would complete the following steps. 1. Withthe desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all modebutton backlights illuminate, then release. (In this case the mode button willbe "TV") 2. Pressand release the Power button. 3. Pressthe Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Note: If the code for the equipment comes up, theequipment will power off. 4. Pressthe POUND (#) button. If the codeentered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

-In addition, you can also program the remote to yourMarantz receiver this can be done by pressing and holding the AUX botton inupper left corner of remote next to the SAT button.
-Press & hold AUX until all the other mode buttonslight up, then release AUX button, all the other mode buttons should turn off,only AUX button should be blinking now,
-While AUX button is blinking enter in the remote code742 for the Marantz receiver and then press the # key (pound key.) Afterpressing the # key on your remote, the AUX mode button should blink 3 timesmeaning the programming has been completed successfully. While still in AUXmode try any function on the remote, such as turning the volume up or down onyour Marantz receiver. The DISH Network remote should now be programmed tocontrol the receiver.
-If the 742 code doesn't program the DISH Network remotesuccessfully you can also try each of the following using the same procedures, 743,651, or 740. After completing the power scan to program the DISHNetwork remote to your DWIN t.v, & completing the AUX mode buttonprogramming, the remote should now work for your TV to powere on and off, theMarantz amplifier- to control the volume, and the DISH Network receiver.
