Okay lets start with the most obvious: Check all studs to ensure they are plumb. I am assuming all sheetrock and tile has been removed. if so measure the distances from the bottom plates on the end walls. it should be 60 inches in the clear. measure the height of the tub from the edge of the skirt that contact the floor to the top of the skirt then measure this distance off on the front and rear studs on both end walls and mark it off. Now measure to see that you still have 60 inches in the clear at both the front and rear locations. Now measure the tub as well to ensure it wasn't mis-manufactured. If all your measurements come in at 60 inches you should be able to bring the tub in and slide it in as it is when it is finished. If you find out that you have less than 60 inches in the clear for the tub you can use a drill and jigsaw to remove additional wood from the studs to get it to drop in. Once in you can fir the wall back out to the original dimension and sheetrock and tile. One thing you need to remember is that you may need to take wood out of bot ends to get the drain to rough in correctly.
I hope this helps you out and thanks for using Fix Ya.

To my knowledge there are no closure caps for your tub; you can however purchase new jets with new seals if the tub is leaking through the jets.

Your motor is shot. you need a new pump. If it comes on and you can hear a hum then it is bad. If you can get us a model number of the pump we can recommend a replacement model for you.

check the air tubing coming off the back of the motor. that tubing should connect from the air switch on the motor to the bottom of the air button on the top of your tub.
if it is not connected then it will never turn on.
