Turn the crown of the watch towards you until it pops out... After the crown pops out, pull on it to extend fully and you should be able to change the time at that point.

I just recieved my Movado 800 series watch today and the large chronograph timer hand won't reset to zero (top of dial @ 12 o'clock) when I press the zero button. It resets to 56 minute position....

you do not need to return, as this is re-settable. Pull out crown to the first position (date setting) and then toggle with upper push button. If upper button do not do the job, try the bottom one. When you reach 12, then push the crown back in. Start the chrono, stop it and check if it returns to 12.

The chronograph hour hand on my movado series 800 is out of sync and i cant get it back to the 0 position. I have pulled out the crown and pushed the start/stop button...

Try pulling the crown out and using the reset button to move hands beside the sweep arm. If this doesn't work then you may need to take it to a repair shop that can reset or AC the watch. With a movement as fine as Movado I wouldn't attempt this yourself. If you make a mistake the repair could cost more than the watch. Be sure that you have the watch resealed so it maintains its water resistance.

My watch battery low. watch name MOVADO series 800

mcdevito75 here, Movado a FINE watch, BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area to change the battery, Movado watches have a very good over all value and any damage can lessen that value, not to mention the jewelers screwdriver you"ll need to change that battery.

My Movado Series 800 second hand zeroes out at the 3-second spot, not at zero (12).

The chronograph can be reset by pulling out the crown to the first or second position and pressing the start button or top button. This will begin to move the sweep arm and you can stop it on the 12:00 or 0 position. Make sure that when you have the battery changed they do this for you.
