I took my C905 to Germany at the weekend and swithed it off at the airport. It went through the X-ray scanner at security and when I arrived in Germany, it would not start up.
The Sony Ericsson screen logo comes up then flickers off. The phone is still on but there is nothing on the screen. The screen is dull and blank but appears to be on.
Is it likely that the X-ray screening has damaged the phone and is there anyway of saving the phone ?

Sounds like the x-ray machine burnt the sensor. Take to Nikon Service and ask for a report. Claim against the airport. With good cameras, it is best to ask for visual inspection.

Put all your gear in the xray and do not carry it through the metal detector. It is all safe for modern electronics, and they wont let you carry in the metal detector in the states anyways.
i was told that the printer needs to be directly connected to the imac (not airport) for the scanner to work.
i have the same issue w/ the airport extreme.
