The electric went off wasnt sure why at the time but when i reset the trip fuse my oven stopped heating up so somethingobviously blew in the oven to cause the the elctrics to trip,
does anyone know how to replace the heating element, also the fan on the top isnt working either
My stove/ oven in not shown, but problem is the same. Oven does not stay lit below 400 degrees. I bake my chicken at 325 but now has to use 400 and that too keep shutting off.

Usually to the set the clock it's pretty simple on most ranges. However I'm not extermely familair with this specific one but I am familair with most other ones. For some reason my firewall wouldn't let me download the manual and upload it here. However here's the link that I was looking at. I've used this site before but sometimes it's hit and miss. If you find no other solution, call GE at 1-800- GE CARES. Hotpoint is made by GE so they should be able to point you in the right direction or at least their internal website so you can download a manual. Hope it helps and Happy Holidays.
it seems to me that it is a fan oven and the top element won't heat up you need a new fan oven element. it is a round element that sits behind the back grill surrounding the fan...
do you get code in display if so what is it . oven cutting out is a high temp problem probably / look for a thermo problem or sensor if digital . need a complete model # to help more if needed . hope this helped mm
it keeps knocking its self of even the electrics
