The network adapter driver in your computer (not the router) has to be installed. If you've replaced the Operating system to XP, it is likely missing the driver. Suggest go to another computer that is connected to the Internet and download the driver to a flash drive - you must go to the manufacturer of the computer's website to get it. Then transfer the file on the flash drive to the computer missing the driver and install it.

Hello there. i have two lynksys WAG200G routers.

Are you wanting to expand the ports available to your internet connection or simply increase the coverage area. I suppose it's the same in the end. What would you like to accomplish?

Annex a/b

Normally for routers or gateways you can check the actual model number on the device itself for UK devices usually they will affix letter A or B next to the model number to indicate which region it belongs. Open region routers and gateways are compatible with region A locations but not with region B.

Annex b to annex a conversion

Conversion of WAG160N from Annex B to A is not possible. The firmware for Annex A is only for Annex A only and the firmware for Annex B is for Annex B only.
