I can't get my scooter to freewheel when both levers, one on each motor, are in the down position. Wont move under its own power either. Batteries are fully charged.

Bqsmc Dang scooters are a mess to troubleshoot because there are so many things that have to work to make it run. Well the brake energizing means you are getting power to the brake but the problem could be the throttle pot, or the speed control pot or the motor itself. To eliminate the motor disconnect the motor connector from the wiring harness and with two jumper wires supply 12 volts to the red and black wires in the plug. (you can jumper from one of your batteries) and the brake wires (2 smaller black wires) you might try jumping the brake first to see if the 12 volts will energize it. If not you will have to supply 24 volts the brake to energize it. If you get the brake energized then supply voltage to the motor leads and it should turn (Block the rear wheels off the ground) If it doesn't then bad motor. If it turns then reconnect the connectors. And then order a speed pot and throttle pot and replace both in the console Hope this helps

Countax c550 loss of transmission and cutting deck.

The owners manual shows 5 fuses. Remove and check each fuse for continuity.

Is the CHARGE indicator lit while engine is running?... regardless check battery voltage with a DMM. With engine running at medium throttle battery voltage should be >13.0VDC. Less than 12.6VDC implies charging system and/or battery failure. Less than 12.0VDC and electronics may not work properly.

The wiring diagram is included in the owners manual available no fee at the following URL.

2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start, but has power. Trying to put car from park to neutral.

Is it possible that the battery isn't fully charged? The interlock is electro-mechanical. Turning the ignition on and putting for foot on the brake should release the shifter lock as you said.

For starting issues you need to connect a scan tool and check for DTCs.

Started saw chain moved , now it won't.

Sounds like the chain brake has activated, pull the hand guard fully back to the top handle until you hear the click of the brake loading.

Ihave a strider st4 and the power gauge goes down fster than any other scooters

hi, OK first check the charger, is it charging correctly please confirm this if possible by borrowing a charger, check the charging port, it is a loose fitting , do you always get a green light on the charger ?, if not check the connection at the charging port.
if after use say greater than 2 miles , the batteries charge up within a couple of hours, that points to your batteries losing the ability to take a charge, now first check the terminal connections to the batteries, are they clean and tight.
Check the brake mounted on the side of the motor, can you hear a click when powering backwards or forward , it may be advisable to get the wheels off the ground, please take care when doing this.
If the brake has become lazy it may not be releasing 100% , moving the wheels around when slight , (just so yo can hear the click, it may be very faint), power applied will test this, again please take care when doing this test
OK so the batteries are charging up, then sadly 95% sure it your batteries, that need replacing. the other 5% being a faulty controller, dodgy motor, but this is very rare.

Please leave feedback if the suggestions help.

My four wheel golden electic scooter is fully charged but went from fully operational to just clicking and not moving at all. Can you help?

Hi. I have had this problem on many machines. It is normally a stuck brush in the motor. This stops the motor from going. The click you can hear is probably the brake solenoid releasing.
Can also be a faulty connector in the motor or battery leads.
Good luck. Neil.

Looking for a User Manual for a Days Medical Strider Mini 4 Mobility Scooter. Battery might be at fault.........battery fully charged but within fifteen minutes charge lost.

Cant help with the manual but the solution to your problem will probably be duff batteries. This is most likely but it could lie with a number of other things. May be charger but probably unlikely. If not batteries, I think this may be the electromagnetic brake not releasing properly and dragging the batteries down. You can usually smell if they are not releasing as they get VERY hot and smell similar to a burnt clutch on a car. The brake is attached to the end of the motor. If you can hear a click from the brake when the throttle is pressed, it might be ok (although it should really be tested with a multimeter for resistance and voltage as the fault could lie in the wiring loom). Also, if its not releasing correctly, i may have turned a shade of blue due to heat build up. Other problems could be high resistance within the motor or transaxle. Would need to perform a Motor Draw test to determine which, if any, of these are at fault.

AXS Mobility scooter loses battery power quickly.

hi , two problems can cause this,

1. batteries are weak, is the charger ok ? just because it 's green does not mean the charger is ok, can you validate the charge, try some other batteries ?,

2. Brake be activated or on at all times,
The best way to prove this is to remove the brake mech from the side of the motor completey now try the scooter, if the problem goes away then check the resistance of the brake, is it open or shorted ?
If you feel the brake, batteries and charger are working ok then the controller must be activating the brake and this is the fault but please double check the voltage on the brake leads.

Jazzy 1113 will not operate!

The click you hear when you activiate the joystick is the electric solenoid on the automatic brakes going on, and then off when you push then release the joystick. This is normal. If it isn't moving, check to see if the free-wheel levers are in gear or in neutral. If you can push the chair, you are in neutral and activating the joystick will just release the brake and run the motors. Turn the two levers to the drive position and then it should take you where you want to go.

You can go to Pride Mobility's website to download an owners manual for your chair here

Good luck.
