It is normal for these parts to wear out. Braun suggests changing these parts every 12 - 18 months. You will find replacements at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

But costomer reviews in amazon.com who take braun series 3 combi 30B foil and cutter replacement pack is fits to Braun 8985 perfectly, very smooth and close shave. Shaves much better than the Braun 51S screens foil.

My nanny stuck a piece of chicken wrapped in aluminum foil into the microwave for 30 seconds ... naturally: diasaster .... the front glass is 'burned' in a small spot but I think it is a 'hole' ... still...

There is a plastic inner sheet that covers and protects the metal mesh that's in between the door panels.

If food, grease, or moisture gets on the metal mesh, it can be damaged, which can cause leakage, resulting in arcing and possible fire.

So the inner sheet must be repaired or replaced.

If the hole is not too big, you can use an Xacto knife or razor blade to cut away the damaged part, then clean & dry it thoroughly, and apply a small piece of clear packing tape over the area.

Otherwise, you can replace the sheet.

Where are the drain holes & how to unblock them in a clio sunroof

hi from uk the sunroof water drain holes are situated within the gutter below the sn roof surround seal and are both at each rear corner/s of sunroof to un blocktry a length of wire preferably plastic coated and poke the wire and twist as you push in drain tubes then use a small water can as u would use for indoor plants and pour hot water gently into the gutter if main blockage has disturbed ? hot water will/should flush the drain tubes thro you could also continue poking with wire too ? i use a length of wire from house lighting 1;0 mm" use either live or neutral wires (insulated) this always works for me TIP! when you wash car raise sunroof and clean gutter channel with rag to prevent dust collection blocking holes/drains in future

My husband owns a 370Braun razor-he wants to replace the top part

You can get the foil screen and the cutter block as a set, since it is recommended to replace them as a set, in case the blade cartridge had a damaged cutter blade that could ruin the new foil screen.

You can get them from Electric Shaver Store or look elsewhere for Braun Item#: 5774761 UPC: 4210201635000

Here's a link to them, they are temporarily out of stock, but they get them in frequently.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

The razor head comes loose from the two arms.

The one piece motor drive which also contains the shaver head in the Braun wear out. They can be replaced by yourself or a shaver tech. A good place for parts, http://shaveroutlet.com/.

To disassemble the 7000 Series Braun shaver.

Disassembly of the 7000 Braun shaver is basically the same as the 8000 series Braun shaver listed below. The 7000 is actually easier to disassemble as the plastic is much thicker and the bottom socket cover pops right off as there are less tabs and they are bigger.

To disassemble the 8000 Braun Series shaver.

Remove the plastic cover on the bottom that covers the corded socket. Be careful, there are a total of two tabs on the short sides and four very small tabs on the long sides. I usedmy fingernail to create a space big enough to insert the corner of a credit card in the center of the long side opposite the blue light indicator, then gently removed the cover. Using a screwdriver could damage the plastic.

The two sides then pop off, they only fit on their respective side when replacing. Don't lose the two small black seals on the top of each side piece.

There are a total of four screws holding the body together. Remove the screws, using the proper flat blade or torx screwdriver. The shaver will then split into. You can then remove the the Motor Drive Unit and the separate circuit board with the batteries.

This would also be a good time to clean the goo buildup from around the shaver head.

Assembly is the reverse of above. The Motor Unit will only fit in one way, there is a flat side and a angular side. Be sure the pin for the trimmer is placed in its proper hole, or it won't extend.
