How can i reset my e50 lock code because the first one i enter i forget it.?thanks

Hi,

If you forget the security code, the only way to Flah the phones software with the new software.

The Default code is 12345.(just for you rinformation)

If you forgot you can generate master code using your IMEI, which can be viewed by pressing *#06# and keying that in the link mentioned below,,

This master code doesnt works in may phone, if it doesnt work with your phone the only way is to flash ypur phone software, you would loose all your data and the other things present in your phone memory

You can Unlock the mobile phones from the Security Lock(Password) lock using the Master Reset Code,You can get the Master Reset Code at Reliable Cost here

A master/hard reset can be done on the E50 by entering the following code *#7370#.
This will erase all information too, just so you know.
So just dial in that code and the master reset will be triggered.

Inorder to format your set,you can use following tips; FOR HIGHER ORDER PHONES(LIKE N,X,E series..): Dial *#7370# then your phone will ask a securitycode,there you can type your code.then it wil format and restart.

FOR OTHER MULTIMEDIA NOKIA PHONES: Here you can't format yourphone,but you can reset it; For that,go to;SETTINGS-RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS- AFTER CLICKING IT, your phone will ask a securitycode there you can type your code.then it wil format and restart. There is no way to reset it. But you can unlock it by entering the lock code. Lock code's default is in the manual. Thank you, have a nice day.

Take the battery out.. And blow on the battery. Put the battery back in turn the phone on. mash buttons hard enough that they can feel it.
