did the clean lock get pushed to lock it ,let the oven cool down and it well unlock. it should open at about 100 degrees

Unplugging it for a few minutes may reset it.

You said, you used the self cleaning selection on my Admiral Designer Series gas range. The oven went through the complete cycle of 3 hours. You then unlocked the door and was able to open the oven door no problem. Later on you went to use the oven, pushed the bake button and the lock light would flash. And you could not get past that to get the oven to come on.

You did the right thing to turn off the electricity and then turned it back on.
Did you wait 5 minutes before turning the power back on?Or just flick it off and on?
You said, the lock light still blinked.
But did it lockup again?

I had the same problem on my Kenmore Electric Range. Door would not unlock. Tried pressing "Off" for multiple seconds, but still would not unlock. No error codes. Clock was displaying normally. Finally decided to try running it thru the self cleaning operation to get it to cycle thru locking and unlocking the door. When I started self clean, the door automatically went thru the auto lock and "locked" appeared in the display. I then hit "Off" to clear it and stop the cleaning cycle. The door then unlocked as normal!

According to the owner's manual for model KHMS155L:

To Lock/Unlock Control: The microwave oven and Timer must
be off. Touch and hold START for 5 seconds until 2 tones sound and a lock icon appears on the display. Repeat to unlock and remove the lock icon from display.

shut the power off and see if it resets.

Located the switch - resetting fixed my stove as well.

turn power off. take back off range. manually unlock door. it sounds like your control panel is shot.after you have it unlocked turn power on try your oven
