How to change ring tone of kx-t7730

Dear Sirs,

I'm working in a company which uses panasonic kx-t7730 corded phone. Unfortunately in our room there are several units of this type and the ring tone for all of them are the same. When 1 unit rings nobody knows which unit is ringing. Is there any possibility to change the ring tone of each unit to help to recognize them? I would appreciate your prompt reply.

Regards
Mahdi

How to page a stored line on Panasonic KX-T7730?

When you put a call on hold you should get intercom tone. At that point you just dial the 3 digit extension you want to speak to. That ext should ring or have a voice page. Make sure the auto answer button is lit on the phones to do voice page

How can we change the ringtone on Panasonic KX-T7730 phone?

You don't. Panasonic analog system phones have one ring tone. You can change the cadence (single double or triple) ring from outside calls, but not the tone.

How to program ring tone on KX-T7730 for each CO? For example I want the inbound call on CO1 and CO2 to ring differently, and for the call for CO3 not to ring ... thank you !

Analog Panasonic phones have one "ring tone". You program it to ring or not ring, but the tone is exactly the same. Ringing programming is in SYSTEM programming in the 40x's, depending on the cabinet. In a TA series, inbound ringing is program 408 409 and 410.

Two phonelines no longer accessible. Using Panasonic KX-T7730 with a Panasonic KX-TES824 system. Lines were working fine and have now disappeared. They don't ring in and I can't ring out on them. ...

This is most likely a service provider issue. If these are analog lines, take a regular phone, not a Panasonic system phone, and plug it into wherever the CO1 CO2 CO3 lines go into the cabinet. If they work there, you have a system fault (not likely). If they don't you have a line problem.

Make sure that you plug the phone into the lines coming in, not into the cabinet :-)

Change ringer tone

Message/Ringer Lamp: The Message/
Ringer lamp informs you visually that you
have a message or a call.
When you receive a call, the lamp
flashes depending on the ringing pattern.
When the ringing pattern is set to Single
(Slow flash), Double (Moderate flash), or
Triple (Rapid flash) in your PBX, the lamp
flashes. When the other ringing patterns
are set in your PBX, the lamp may not
flash. (e.g., S-Double, Call Waiting
Tone1).
When someone has left you a message,
the lamp is lit continuously.

Please note that the above indicates that ring patterns are set in the the PBX. These are issues that require a real person to sit at the main system and program the features that users need. I hope you have an I.T. person that knows your phone system. If you don't, you'll have to find a communications company in your area that can program your system. Thanks for using Fixya.

Change the ring tone of Panasonic KX-T7730

I think it can be done. Just exchange the phone for a 7633 and change out the TA for a TDA-50.

Piece of cake.
