I have a philips universal remote and need the code to program it to my durabrand dwt2405 tv.

You need the remote to change to game mode. The original remote doesn't appear to be available. A substitute remote with the function is here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=DWT2405&uuid=12931247714820 . The Game button switches to and from game mode. Other universal remotes may work but a source or input button is needed. Then try various codes for either Durabrand or Funai TVs (Funai built the TV). The other issue is that the remote needs to have been programmed at least 6 months after the TV was released. The remotes that are programmed via a USB connection to a computer will definately be able to match the function.

Hello You just buy one Philips CL 034 model Universal remote control, which can be programmed with your Duraband TV. The porgramme codes are
0520 0115 0317 0916 0027 0447 0323
Direct Code Entry 1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red indicator stays on, then release the CODE SEARCH button. 2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit. 3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes. 4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one othe other codes for your brand. Ok

try 032 or 132 or 11034 or 694.
These have all worked on various remotes including Dish Network remotes for the Durabrand DWT 1304 color 13" TV. Look at the Funai Corp codes and the Orion codes. Sometimes they work, Funai Corp makes Durabrand.

DWT2405's were made by FUNAI. There number is 800 605 8379.

Durabrand tv's were made for Walmart by Funai, Haier, and Orion. Look under those names for codes.
