I have a Samsung ML 1666 Printer, i had resetting my printer, while resetting power went off.. Now it's only showing red and yellow light.. Can you Please help me in reset to factory defaults... Computer...

My samsung ml-1666 printer problem is while i'm push the power on button the printer LED (RED & Green) lite goes on and its consist continue. what couse this problem.....

Two reasons I could think of

Low toner.

Pre-set counter on cartridge reaches limit.

Try removing the toner cartridge and powering the unit on.

While unit is plugged in, re-install cartridge.

Not knowing how old the printer is a the amount of use, it is had to answer

I was reset the samsung ml-1666 by using of chiprest utillity but printer is (asking )change ml-1640 insted of ml1666 what i do plz help me

Dear
You have upload the firmware of ML-1640, which is not possible. Try to upload ML-1666 firmware fix. You can also try covering a tape on the chip contact area only.

I found the solution for resetting the printer without any instrument.
