Dear sir, My dryer is a Hot point dryer, Mod#NVLR333GVOWW and the On/Off button is broken and needs to be fixed. How much would it cost to get the part for the dryer?

This is very likely a relay problem. There is a black relay in the control head that engages when the start button is pressed. The relays tend to go bad now and then. They are a simple replacement and cost less than $15 or so.
no, it would not sounds to me like your either not getting power to the elements, or they are bad, need to check, power to the unit first, then to elements, when you turn it on finally the elements itself, please be safe if you work on it yourself thks larry
Sounds like the belt is broken...or the motor is faulty.
If the belt is broken and you repair it yourself the cost is reasonable.
If the motor is burned out, then you looking at a higher cost...maybe $100-150 if a repair man fixes...could be more depending on your area
