While cooking, sugar boiled over and it looks as if it burned into the glass. Can it still be used or fixed or does it need to be replaced?
Princess House offers a ceramic top cleaner that includes sulphuric acid. Using it, I have removed at least half the scars from burning food onto my schott cerami cooktop.
Unfortunately, some stains are more accurately pits...which it seems can not be resurfaced, but effect the cooking very little.
Princess House is a 'party' company, like amway. I imagine a Google will stear you in the right direction.
Sugar spills on a hot surface will 'pit' the glass surface. There is no way to repair. The damage caused to the surface is only cosmetic and will not affect the performance or operation.

I am so dissapointed in my cooktop, I was making jelly, and preserves, the sugar water boiled over and I have tried to clean it, Is there anything that will remove these large black blobs on my stove top, it looks dirty and not cleam.
