My hot point oven is not getting hot. What can I do?

Most likely the Magnetron is u/s and needs replacing.
Before removing the cover of the oven in attempt to carry out any maintenance such as replacing the Oven cavity lamp, make sure the oven is disconnected from the power point ! The voltages in a microwave oven ARE LETHAL !

If you have a pilotless model it is very likely that your oven igniter is bad. This is fairly easy to replace. A contunuity check will show if the igniter is bad.

could be either the thermostat or the heating element, 9/10 times it is the heating element.

Those clocks are no longer made. To repair we had to remove and send to a rebuilding facility. I d not know if these places are still available but I would leave well enough alone until it dies completely.

you have to check voltage at ignitor while thermostat on/if 110 volts you need new ignitor.if no power will trace back to next componet.i think one side would be thermostat other netural?

although i don tknow what model your talking about all the F3 codes in ovens is pointing toward bad oven sensor, replace oven sensor
