I have a 40 year old Frigidaire Custom Deluxe Range. The flouresent light above the range needs to be repaired. I cannot find it. Can you help me? I think the model number is RCD-637P/RCDG-637VP. It's a Phillips bulb # F25T12/CW- 28 inches long. Thank you for your assistance. David Berns

That's a standard 28 inch appliance fluorescent tube. It is readily available from Amazon.com at low cost (well below 10 bucks including shipping). I just bought and installed one of these in that exact range. For that money they sent a genuine Sylvania tube, not some cheap Chinese piece of junk.

I had the same problem and found a dirt cheap 24 inch light, moved the hookup closer to fit the light I have a 40 year - 10_3_2011_6_06_59_am.jpg

Oven door locked

ah, you lucky guy. You can try a hard reset by unplugging the range for a good 1/2 hour, then plug back in. Unfortunutely this probably won't work, as these clock/timers are notorious for only lasting a few years. You have to blow $150+ and replace the clock/timer. Note: A hair dryer will help you get the face off the old one to put onto the new one.

you will need to call the parts store directly and ask them to order the part or if they know where to get it. My guess is that with the unit being that old, your part is obsolete.
