There should be a shaft lock button near the tip end of the tool and you need a small spanner wrench (included with the tool) that inserts into the collet sleeve hole and is turned CCW (looking at the tool end) to loosen the collet itself. Tap on the tool end lightly to help loosen the bit. Hope this helps!

I want to use my USA Dremel Stylus in Europe. I already ruined a docking station, using my 110-220 transformer. I now have a new dock but what type of transformer should I get? Dremel says it should put...

I presume you want to use a transformer to convert the Europe voltage to USA voltage ( 220 or 240 to 110 )
Why not purchase a 240 volt docking station ?
Send me the 10 digit number on your Dremel (usually starts with F ) and I can help you.

Where can you find a Dremel model 780 battery

I'm not sure why but, the Dremel 9.6 volt battery is only available through a Robert Bosch retailer or authorized service center. Their homepage is at www.boschtools.com/Pages/default.aspx where you can search for the nearest service center under the 'Service' tab.

When I turn on my 7.2v minimite the tip spins, but stops when I just hold it with my fingers. I changed the sandpaper on the tip and think maybe I did something wrong, any idea how to fix it?

Hi. Is this a small rotary tool, like a Dremel? If so, I'm afraid it is probably just a weak tool with no torque. Buy a Dremel tool.

I bought a dremel 4000 on ebay and it didn't have a manual with it - I need basic instructions to use the drill bits I purchased that go with it. Is there an adaptor that I need to use them?

Your drill bits side, should have a twisting hand tightening head into which you insert the bits, and have fun. If this is missing, you can either buy it, at dremel stores, or get a nut of the same thread and get the job done.

I can't find instructions for dremel versatip to change the heads how do you do this

The pdf manual is here: http://mdm.boschwebservices.com/MDMCache/English%20[US]/t10/0000000/r00554v-1.pdf
BUT it doesn't explain how to change the bits. If I remember correctly there is a grub screw near the tip that you loosen with a small flat blade screwdriver to change the tips. If your model is different then perhaps posting a picture would make it easier to give a better description.

With the machine unplugged, check the motor brushes. They may be worn.

I have not had success doing any other repairs to the motor part of a Dremel. I do know they have a service center. Go here for more info:
