Now THAT is a beauty! What a classic look!
Best place I can recommend is any distributor of Bunn coffee makers.
They either have their own repairman or have one on call.
I repair them also, but I hate shipping such fragile items.

I work for a school district and we have at least 23 110-150 cup Alfa coffeemakers, and 25 50-cup Alfa coffeemakers. Many of them are experiencing various problems. We do not have manuals so we cannot...

I feel, that with that many coffee machines and garoua problems, you would need a local coffee repair man to come out and go through them and get them up to par, then figure out a low cost, yet effective maintenance program. Lots of local coffee companies would glad to help for little or no cost for trade of in house or local advertising in school papers and pamphlets. Let me know what you think if this helps , thanks mike

My 12 cup DeLonghi has power; the light is on; but it will not start to brew. I don't have my manual. The device is 1 year old, and has been used less than 50 times.

This is most likely that the protection fuse has blown. The DeLonghi people are very poor designers. I have repaired several of their models and they use to many parts, they use off the shelf generic parts and therefore they make a lot of poor design trade-offs that lower the reliability( my opinion ). if you can replace the fuse ( you can get from radio shack ) you must also put in new thermo paste between the element and hot plate. The reality is that this company's stuff fails way to early. I have had many people complain about many different models. I still have a Mr coffee that is over 20 years old. Yes it was made in china but designed in America. It will cost you over $40 to take to a small repair shop, if one exists in you area. I don't know how much you paid BUT you can buy a Mr. Coffee Themo carafe model at target for less than $50 ( on sale ) I bought one for my Mother last year and it is great. Her last one still works BUT no features, strength control, auto shut off, thermo carafe to keep coffee warm without power, clean alert, and more.

I need a replacement cord for a very old stainless steel 12-40 cup Regal automatic coffee maker. I cannot find a model number. Where can I find a cord?

Yes, this is a standard cord -- some hardware stores do not carry them -- but any appliance repair parts counter would have them hanging on the wall.

My cuisinart coffee maker just recently started not using all the water I've poured into the reserve. Up 'til today it was leaving the last two cups in the reserve, but today, out of the six cups I poured...

This is a real problem with these coffee makers, and there's not much that can be done. However, there is a work around: before brewing, just hit the button to brew 1-4 cups. It'll still brew a whole pot, it'll use all the water, the coffee will taste no different, and you can still program it however you'd like. Cheers!
