This sounds like one of several problems:
1. Does any indicator light come on? If there is one and it doesn't you either have a bad thermostat (size of a dime/1/4 inch thick) black item with two wires attached to the chamber or a bad heater. Check both with an ohm meter...Resistance of any kind across the terminals means okay.
2. Could be the switch. Same kind of test.
3. If you've got a steam leak, deal with that...new cap or valve.

Make sure all wire fasters are clean and bright. If screwed down, make sure they are tight. Cycle each connector off and on to clean them.

Remember: always work on your unit with it unplugged. You may need torx screwdrivers to open this unit. Any hardware store will have sets of these items.

I have a Magnifica S machine and the milk steamer flow is diminished compared to a few months ago and it seams like steam is not coming out of the bottom of the machine. Any ideas?

Here are some possible reasons why the milk steamer flow is diminished and steam is not coming out of the bottom of the machine:

Clogged steam wand: The steam wand might be clogged with milk residue, which can restrict the flow of steam. Try cleaning the steam wand with a damp cloth or a pipe cleaner.

Faulty steam valve: The steam valve might be faulty or damaged, which can cause a decrease in steam pressure. In this case, you may need to replace the valve.

Blocked milk frother: The milk frother might be blocked with milk residue, which can prevent the milk from frothing properly. Try cleaning the milk frother with a damp cloth or a pipe cleaner.

Faulty milk frother: The milk frother might be faulty or damaged, which can cause a decrease in milk flow and prevent proper frothing. In this case, you may need to replace the milk frother.

If none of these solutions work, it's best to contact DeLonghi's customer service for further assistance

Hi, We have a Saeco Royal coffee machine and the milk frother doesn't seem to be working. Need some advice as to what could be the problem?

1- Royal Coffee is not an accurate model. I have to assume that you are having problem with the auto frother that is on the left side of the machine. The auto frother draws milk from the bottle and steams it into the cup.
2- The connection of the frother & the adapter is not right/air tight. The two O-rings on the frother must be pushed in all the way so the O-ring will not be visible.
3- The frother circular chamber for steaming is not clean. There should be no milk deposits visible at all.

4- The silicone tube puling milk from the bottle is connected to the body of the frother with an L-shaped connector. Make sure this connector is air tight fit.

The frother on my krups 'il primo' has lost power. The steam barely comes out. How can I fix that?

I've also had this problem with the Krups 'Il Primo' - reduced steam for frothing of milk but plenty of espresso.
Diagnosis: over many uses, a residue of dried milk plugs the interior of the steamer tip.
Fix: Using a small adjustable wrench, remove the tip. Clean it inside and out with a tooth pick. Reattach the tip - gentle with the wrench.

I have a saeco Royal Professional and have noticed that although the steamer appears to have sufficient pressure it is taking longer to heat the milk via the wand and that it appears to be steaming up...

Very good description. The problem is very simple. Inside the machine behind the steam wand the secure nut on the pipe coming to the wand is loose and you can tight it back in place very easy. You will need to remove the top plastic cover to see where the steam is leaking.
There is a chance that the pipe or nut is proken but this is very rair.
Good Luck

Saeco Royal coffee machine

There is probably something wrong with the milk frother. I would purchase a new one before having the machine serviced.
