What is an error code e32 on a Canon sx210? Just bought the camera and it looks as thoght it works i.e. takes pictures and I can preview them, but sometimes this e32 error occurs and the camera shuts down.

This is an Error message look on the Canon website for the list of error codes.

turno Offf and then back on, SHOOT or play back, If the problem persist with the error code, you must contact to canon customer support Help desk. if the error code is after taking picture, the shoot may not have been recoded. check image in playback mode.

your unit is fairly new product. you just send to canonUSA. it should cover by warranty.

Getting Canon error codes usually means a trip to the Canon service center for a fix. There's a discussion in the DPreview forum regarding the same problem.

Apparently an E32 error code results in the camera powering off in exactly 60 seconds in the playback mode. It not necessarily affects just the G11 but other PowerShot models too.

Generally E-series error codes mean either a hardware or firmware issue that cannot be rectified by the end user.

- put fresh batteries in the camera but no memory card;
- double click the on/off button so the camera turns on, then off;
- hit the button again and, hopefully, it will start normally.

Some cameras display a grainy picture in low light. Do you have the camera set to the highest number of megapixels and fine image or do you have it set to a lower resolution to get more pictures on the card?

I have purchased recently canon ixus 130, the camera automatically shuts down after some 30 sec& shows a messege 'camera error,restart camera will autometically shut down error
E32.'

Just bought a Canon SX210, I can take only a couple of shots before the Camera gives Camera error E32 and shuts down, this is a consistent. Any hints?
