I cannot play a video from youtube because i do not have avc 1 codec. How and wher can I download this software?

You may want to install the codec pack from the link below, to ensure you have all the codecs required to run all video formats.

your OS hasn't got the codecs needed for playing different video.
but you can download this software for playing any type of audio and video.

Best software out there is VLC player. plays any format way easier than media player and all that codec run around. So many new codecs are coming out every day that its better to use a program that has all the codecs and constantly updates them to a product like media player that always requires plugins and codecs to play things. It may not runt he file if it was blocked. If your in IE it may get blocked, you need to allow the download to be able to get it to go. There are many ways to download youtube videos, best thing is to try them all till you find one that is most conveinant for you. I like Real Player it downloads all videos off the net from any site. One click at the top right of any movie box.
