Have correct puk code but phone will not unlock

Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. Hi no the puk code is a sim code the unlock code is for the phone on your phone it is a mep code if you put the wrong code in to many times you will not be able to unlock it.

If you log onto your companys website under your account and go to the option that says devices you can get the puk code- If you enter in too many numbers it will permanently block your sim card and you will have to buy a new sim card from your cell phone company- they are about $20

ring up the mobile phone service provider you are connect with tell them you need a puk code and your mobile number then they will generate a puk for you to unlock.

The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.

You may enter wrong PIN three (3) times only. After that your PIN will be blocked! To unblock, you need PUK. You can only enter wrong PUK ten (10) times. (This is as documented) After entering correct PUK, you will be asked for NEW PIN.

So, when it says "PIN blocked. Enter PUK code", you must enter the PUK. If you correctly enter the PUK, it will asked for new PIN, by asking "Enter new PIN code:". Enter anything you want as your PIN. You will be asked to enter it twice (two times).
From what I read from your post, you have done correctly, but you don't want to enter new PIN. There is no way SIM card/phone will use old PIN. The device doesn't know your PIN. So, you have to enter new PIN.
