The Leviton 6230 is a countdown timer with maximum time of 30 minutes.
The other times are 15minutes, 5minutes and 3minutes.
The timer has a manual override.
Push the bottom button and the timer works like a switch.

Leviton also make the 6260 countdown ... with 10-20-30-60minute times.

Woods 59008 timer would not toggle and stay in 10-20-30-60 minute position

Hari,

DISCONNECT POWER..circut breaker.. FOR 30-60 SECONDS AND REAPPLY, SOMETIMES A POWER SURGE CAN LOCK UP THE ELECTRONICS AND THIS WILL RESET IT.
Otherwise Amazon has them for $13.00.

Best to you.

Are the switches bad .? If so this would be strange as both switches are at the same time .thanks

Is this new installation?
Sounds like timer is wired wrong.
Or you are replacing 3-way switch with the single-pole timer.

Programming to command other switches

Question is not clear.
Add a comment and say specifically what timer you have and what type of switch(es) you want to control, and add what voltage you are working with and what color wires you have.

You posted under Leviton 6230 30-minute countdown timer.
Generally, a countdown timer is not considered a programmable timer since the countdown program is already inside the timer.
With countdown timer, you push a button that turns circuit ON, and after countdown expires, the circuit turns OFF.

Countdown timer can easily switch a contactor ON, and then turn it off after countdown expires.

My leviton timer is flashing on the 10 minute timer. What could be causing this?

Try turning off power to the timer for a few minutes, and then turn back on.

If an electronic countdown timer stops working, there are no repairs, and you need another one. Fortunately, inexpensive replacements are available at Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart.
Be sure to mark your wires, or take photo, before removing old timer so new wires connect without confusion.

I lost my Leviton 6230M 30 mins timer installation sheet.

Switch has 2 black wires. One black is hot wire. One black is wire going to fan. Turn off power. Remove wires from switch and separate. Turn power back on. Using ordinary tester, test each black wire to bare copper ground wire. Only one of the black wires will test hot. The other black wire goes to fan.
Timer black wire connects to black hot
Timer blue wire connects to black wire going to fan
Timer white wire connects to white neutral (in absence of white neutral, connect Timer white wire to bare ground)
Timer green connects to bare ground wire

Cuisinart coffeemaker DCC-450 switch keeps turning off by itself.

There is a defect with your coffee maker. It uses a momentary switch, but is supposed to stay on for 30 minutes. I believe there is a common failure due to heat sensitivity of an IC on the board. I suspect this is a timer chip. See my other postings on this.

Bathroom fan

Hi there might be a couple of issues. The first one how old is your fan, if it is an older model motor maybe running down? Try setting your switch on the fan at high. Also the polarity of wiring at the switch or the fan might be swaped. This means the white and balck wires may not be in the right polarity.
