Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "GatewaySupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for Manuals and documents.

TRY connecting a external monitor to your SVGA port!

Your screen may have gone out - try hooking up an external monitor with a VGA input. Connect it to the VGA output of the laptop. If you get a display, your screen inverter or backlight has gone out. If the hard drive light on the control panel is flashing then the harddrive is likely ok.

please login to the gateway support website www.support.gateway.com enter your serial no and choose the Operating system.You can download all the drivers required

Did you install from the Gateway-modified version of the Microsoft Windows CD-ROM, or from a "generic" Microsoft Windows XP disk?

If the latter, then your computer is missing the "device-drivers" for some of the Gateway hardware, namely the wireless adapter, and the M.S.C.

So, access Gateway's web-site, enter your model-name and model-number, and look for "downloads" for Windows (XP? Vista?) for your computer.
Download and install the selected device-drivers, to add support for those devices.

No.. It cannot be done..if you need more computing power buy a new unit..

find your wireless card manufacture n serial number inside your backward laptop casing. there sould be any informations about your wifi card. find it up n download the driver form official website. go googling...

You can right click on the Video controller that is yellow exclamated, select uninstall. Then you can re-install the driver. This will put the new driver in and hopefully fix your problem.
tell me which Gateway model and what operating system and I'll send you a link for the driver .
