There are many probable causes of failure .

A dishwasher's water inlet valve is its most common part to fail. When your dishes are not being fully cleaned, quite often a faulty water inlet valve is to blame. Test your dishwasher's water inlet valve, and if it is no longer functioning as it should, you will have to replace it.

Water temperature is a key element in achieving clean dishes. A dishwasher's heating element is not designed to heat the water that enters it. Rather, the heating element is designed to maintain the heat of the water that enters the dishwasher. Its a good idea to run the hot water in your sink for a couple of minutes before you run the dishwasher. Just to make sure the water is nice and hot before it enters the dishwasher. If the water is unable to stay hot, it can adversely affect your dishwasher's cleaning ability.

There is a filter in your dishwasher. Its function is to keep large particles of food and foreign objects away from the pump. Many of the newly-manufactured dishwashers have self-cleaning filters, and routine cleaning isn't a concern. However, some other dishwashers need to have the filter removed and cleaned regularly. If the filter or grate is clogged or blocked with debris, it may interfere with the normal functioning of your dishwasher

Why is there still a line showing through middle of pages when scanning/printing via top document tray of toshiba e stuido 351c? I know who to clean glass area but not top tray.

Does this line appear when you try to print to the machine? Or when you make copies on the scan bed? If so, then you most likely have a mark on the drum unit. If not, then the **** glass that the document feeder uses is located to the left of the large glass surface, attempt to clean that and ensure that no mark or scuff marks are on the **** glass.

SCX 4826FN everything that goe in through the top feeder (scans, copies, faxes) comes out with a solid vertical black line on the paper. All other printing jobs that pull paper from the tray are ok. It...

This black line sounds like it is definately coming from the ADF scanner glass. This is the thinner strip of glass that is located just to the left of the large original glass. You can verify this by making a copy from the large glass instead of using the feeder on top. If the copy comes out clean then it is definately the scanner glass. Just clean the glass well with glass cleaner and a soft cloth. This glass is only used when copying/scanning using the top automatic feeder

Original document fed into top feed tray of mfc 7440N model come out with few thin black lines on the mid left of the scanned file. Scanning file from glass has no issue.

You need to clean the narrow glass strip on the left side of the machine when you open the cover. There is likely lint or something on this glass. This is where the auto document feeder pages are "imaged".

Have a Samsung SCX-5315F All-In-One that has a line running down the page when you copy using the document input tray. Clean copy when using the flatbed. I have cleaned all the glass thoroughly.

It sounds like it is dirty where it feeds through and not on the flat bed glass. Try and gently lift up the top section where the paper feeds through. If it resists you may need to locate clips or screws but generally the thin strip of glass under the top feeder is easily accessible. Good Luck

Dirt left on dishes on top tray; bottom tray washes fine

The broken bottom arm is probably preventing any water / water under pressure to get to the upper arm.
After you replace the lower arm, you should have much better cleaning in the top shelf.
While you are in there replacing the lower arm, recommend you remove the filter under it and clean the filter and any debris you find. Be careful of broken glass!
Good Luck!
