I Need a link for the installation software for sansa

USB mode located on the sansa if asked to change to MSC goto menu press enter scroll to settings press enter scroll to usb mode press enter scroll to msc press enter press menu.....Connect should auto start sansa software..... Recovery Mode: download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer
Start the update software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually...
follow instructions on the updater and the sansa.

Try connecting it to another computer and see if it will recognize it as sansa or removable drive. if it does then download the sansa update software and install it. Make sure you disconnect the sansa and connect it when asked. This will update your sansa and add the Usb Mode. Open my computer click on folder what ever folder has your music in it and drag to media folder and drop (click on the (+)where it say's sansa ) easier not to sync

need more info you can see it or you can't see it. It's not playing the video???? Is it in a hidden file.. did you use the converter????? click on link..

Actually, the disk that comes with the sansa e260 is really only for putting videos on it. The player will add any music put on regularly. The disk is a software that converts certain file types into others so the player can play them. Music is mostly .mp3 files if you get them from cds( in my experience) so you should hve no problem.
