Denis, by default laptops usually output only to their own lcd panel. There must be a key combination on your laptop wich rotates output in 3 steps: lcd panel only, lcd + TV (projector), TV only. The key combination uses a special Function key (FN) usually blue (found near left Ctrl key)with one of the numeric keys. So, first make sure your laptop output is correct and then try input key on your projector.

To reset the lamp timer:
1) With the projector plugged in and turned off, press the 'ON/STANDBY' button to put the projector in 'STANDBY' mode. NOTE: You have to press the button on the projector itself, you cannot use the remote for this step (this is not clear in manual).
2) Now, using the remote, press the following keys in order: RESET, <--, -->, ENTER.
3) Timer should now read '0'.
Hi David
I think you should replace the lamp.

Hi there
You should first check if there is any visible damage on your lamp. If not then it could be a faulty Ballast ( lamp powersupply )

Hi mick1907
Take out your lamp and check for any irregularity like marks or discolouration.
If there is no visible damage - put back the lamp and take of the top cover - start the Projector and check if all your fans are running - that is if the machine starts at all.
If the unit doesn't start up at all you will have to replace the Mainboard.
