How to have a Clean Washer

If you are wondering how to clean the clothes washing machine then here is what you need to know.

Your washing machine works hard at cleaning your clothing, but once in a while you need to give it a good cleaning also. Whether you have a front loading washing machine or a top loading washing machine, you still should take the time to clean it once in awhile.

First take a good household cleaner and wipe down the outsides of your washer. Then wipe down the inside of the lid and on front load washing machine, the rubber just inside the door. To get the rubber clean you may need to move it around, pushing and pulling on the rubber to remove the wrinkles temporarily, to get into them and get the gunk out.
Then you are ready to clean the inside of your washing machine.

Some prefer lemon juice and others white vinegar. Either one is good, but the vinegar may be better at controlling odor in the washing machine. For either one turn the washing machine to the highest load or water setting and fill the machine. Add 2 cups of lemon juice or vinegar to the machine. Run it for a few minutes and then let it sit for at least an hour. Then let the machine finish the cycle. Run another cycle after with 2 cups of bleach. Also let the bleach sit in your washer for at least an hour. The run another complete cycle to rinse out your washing machine thoroughly.

This should give you a clean washer and hopefully you had fun washing the washer.

How do I clean my machine?

Start by removing the bobbin cover/throat plate. Using the brush that should have come with your machine, make swift upward strokes to coax all dust and lint out of the bobbin case and feed dogs. If you have a manual showing how to remove the bobbin case, remove it. If you don't have a manual, make sure you know EXACTLY how the case was originally in the machine because they can be the deuce to replace.
With bobbin case removed, again use quick strokes with your machine brush to clean out the lint. You may use a vacuum to remove the deep down lint. If you have the attachments that are small and made for cleaning keyboards etc, use one of them to gently probe into the machine for a deep cleaning. You may also use a cotton swab. Turn your handwheel toward you and wipe dust and lint from any moving parts. You may put a small amount of macine oil on a swab after removing dust. This will help to oil moving parts that are expose. DO NOT attempt to oil any hidden parts.
After cleaning the inside and bobbin case, use your brush or a clean swab and gently check the thread take up leaver and the tension discs.Remove lint and debris but do not oil this area.
This should take care of it and your machine should purr with gratitude!

Washer won´t start, not all leds light on and when i press the start bottn, it just won´t start

Hiya,
Machines not starting are often due to the water not getting through 1st check would be to make sure the hoses are connected correctly & that the water taps to the machine are switched on this is a common problem when an apliance has been moved for either cleaning or re-instalation after a move, if it is the taps not switched on the macine will start working again straight away if it's not the taps then it could be the pump.

Hope this helps

The machine is not filling and all the display lights are flashing.Thankyou.

It sounds like ether youre plumbing is not leting water down the pipe or the valves have gone inside youre washing machine try filling the washing machine up via the powder dispensing draw with the front door of the macine shut and the macine off when the machine is full of water swich it to the program you want and see if it works if it does then its the valves in the machine burt before you do that unhook the filling hose from the wall and see if water is coming out if not its youre plumbing

Washing leaves spots in dress shirts

What you could possibly try, is run an empty load, to wash the washer drum clean of sediment. If the washing macine drum is stained, clean it by hand with a cleaning compund, like clorox or some other kind of cleaning solution. Another thing that you can try, is to use the dish washer cleaning solution that they sell, to clean dish washers of sediment. It comes in a small white, plastic square container and Walmart sells it.

Cleaning washing machine

THERE ARE COMMERCIAL WASHING MACHINE CLEANERS ON THE MARKET. YOU CAN ALSO USE AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER DETERGENT IN A HOT WASH TO CUT GREASY BUILDUP IN THE WASHER. BE SURE TO GET THE WATER A LEAST 120 DEGREES TO ACTIVATE THE DETERGENT. YOU CAN ALSO USE A BLEACH BATH TO CLEAN THE WASHER, BUT DON'T COMBINE THE BLEACH WITH ANY OTHER CLEANERS. IT CAN BE TOXIC.
