If you can connect to the Internet using the LAN cable then your Internet connection is OK.
If you are trying to connect to the Internet using the wireless connection, then your problem is the wireless settings in either the Linksys or the wireless card in your computer.
First check the wireless settings in the Linksys, ie. the SSID and encryption key.
Second check the wireless settings in the computer's wireless card, this must match the route's wireless settings. If it matched then do a Repair connection. this will get the Linksys to issue a new IP address to the wireless card.computer.
If the Linksys wireless settings were changed then configure the wireless card in the computer with these new settings.

The ethernet and internet lights all light up when i plug in my router, but not the power light. I was about to go out and buy a bunch of ethernet cables to hook up the home computers, but don't want...

Dosn't the router come with cables? Connect one computer to the router and see if it works.

If the router is brand new and hasn't been set up yet, it may have open wi-fi working right out of the box without needing a password. In that case, you could use a computer or tablet that has wi-fi, and no need for an ethernet cable.

Open your browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar

Trying to hook up a links wrt150n to terby net

Step 1. Connect your computer to the router. Did it get an IP address? If so, try to browse to the IP address of the default gateway. If not reset the router configuration (see below:)

Step 2. There should be a small hole in the back of the router. Turn off the power, stick the end of a paperclip into the small hole to depress the reset button, hold down the button while you power the router back on, wait a minute then take the paper clip back out.

Step 3. The router should now be reset with the initial configuration, retry step 1.
