Troubleshooting Error Code F35 on Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet Washers
The
Central Control Unit detected a fault in the analog pressure switch.
"Sud" may display 4 minutes prior to F35. Run a cycle without using
detergent to clear possible sud lock condition. The first thing to check
is the pump filter located behind the bottom panel. Remove the screws
attaching the bottom of the bottom panel then pull the panel down and
off the cabinet. Once the panel is off, remove the filter by turning the
knob counterclockwise and clean the filter. Reach in the pump impeller
with your finger and turn it manually to check it for restrictions and damage.
The
next thing to check is the analog pressure switch assembly. Remove the
screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the machine then slide the
panel backward and off the cabinet top. The analog pressure switch on
the top right rear of the cabinet with a clear hose attached to it.
Check the hose for clogs and kinks then detach and blow air forcefully
down through it to clear for any obstruction. Also blow air into the
pressure switch itself.
