The password you are referring to is probably the wireless encryption key/passphrase. This key is setup in the D-Link's wireless settings.
Open a browser on your computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) - if you had changed the PW then enter the password.
Then go to the wireless settings to get the encryption key.
NOTE - If your computers are connected to the D-Link using the D-Link's wireless then the encryption key is configured in the wireless card settings. Yo may also get this encryption key from the computer's wireless card settings.
I don't know which make or model of the wireless card in your computer, but generally your wireless card may have a utility program that allows you to configure the wireless settings ie. the SSID and encryption key etc. that has been set in the router.
The encryption key in the router may be set to WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption method.
WPA and WPA2 are later and much stronger encryption method than the older WEP. If your router has been set to WEP, I recommend you change it ti WPA or better still WPA2 encryption.
