I have the creativeVF0250 but i dont have the cd to install it on my windows 7... where can i download the software installer for windows 7?

1. On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), right-click Computer , and then click Properties .
2. In the System section under Processor , find the manufacturer, model, and speed (GHz) of the processor.

If your computer runs an AMD C-50, C-60, or Z-01 1.00 GHz processor, continue with the steps in the following solution.SolutionFollow these steps to download and install the newest, full-feature version of your HP printer software. You can download the Microsoft virtual machine or another VM system.

After install make a virtual hard drive on your VM machine of at least10 gig. Then add your DVD/CD rom drive to the VM and put yourinstall CD/DVD in the drive. Set VM machine to boot from CD.Install on VM hard drive from within the VM machine, Type in KEY code,Bam! you now have a win xp VM!(Note: Games and stuff may not work in the VM as they do not use your video card but a virtual video card that is pretty limited!)

The CD-ROM has the installers for older versions of Windows. The installation routines for the newer versions of Windows have changed considerably from those that were in use when the CD was written. You can get the drivers and Canon Toolbox software for the scanner from Canon: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/scanners/canoscan_series/canoscan_lide25#DriversAndSoftware . Select Windows 7 in the dropdown menu. The software will work with any version of Windows 7.

The only exception is that the third-party software is not available for downloads. If you want to use the original CD software (assuming the disc is undamaged) and you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, you can download and install Virtual PC and XP mode for a free XP virtual computer. Then install the scanner to the "XP computer" as you normally would. However, the virtual computer and the Win7 computer cannot both have the hardware installed simultaneously. So to share files, you may need to save them to external media (optical or hard drive). If you have one of the other versions of Windows 7, you can do the same thing with any virtual PC program and a licensed older version of Windows.

Hi, If as if you have not use the CD for Windows 7 OS before. i think you will need to install a different Drivers for windows 7, or the Drivers CD your using is not working properly again.
