What is going on with the Kubota? Glow plugs not heating? You should be able to get to most of the wiring from the other side of the dash.
I think you will have to take the whole thing off as to make it weather proof its a complete unit and not a seperate dash as you seem to think it is you will have to lift the whole thing off ,then you will most likely find a mouse nest and they have chewed the wires ,this is very common
Hi, should be held on with 6 self tapping screws from the rear. Once off the tractor it is held together with screws and plastic clips.
Hi Jim,
Once the panel board is off the tractor (6 screws and a speedo cable) the only thing that holds the panel together is the 4 clips, two at the top and two at the bottom. On the rear of the unit there should be two screws holding a cover on. Remove them and then you should see 8 more screws. Remove them and the front should seperate from the rear as long as you release the clips. Hope this helps.

I did not raise the matter of glow plugs. I simply need to get the instrument panel out to check the wiring connections on the dash of the Kubota B2400. I have tried to pry open the two small slots provided with screw drivers, but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
There are two 5mm slits in the plastic housing that holds the dashboard instruments on the Kubota B2400, and in order to check for loose connections or corroded wires I need to be able to open it up. But, try as I might, I cannot get the dash out. Any help most appreciated. Thanks, Jim.
