Can't get dashboard open to check wiring on Kubota B2400HSD. Any ideas please?

  • Anonymous Nov 02, 2010

I did not raise the matter of glow plugs. I simply need to get the instrument panel out to check the wiring connections on the dash of the Kubota B2400. I have tried to pry open the two small slots provided with screw drivers, but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

There are two 5mm slits in the plastic housing that holds the dashboard instruments on the Kubota B2400, and in order to check for loose connections or corroded wires I need to be able to open it up. But, try as I might, I cannot get the dash out. Any help most appreciated. Thanks, Jim.

What is going on with the Kubota? Glow plugs not heating? You should be able to get to most of the wiring from the other side of the dash.

I think you will have to take the whole thing off as to make it weather proof its a complete unit and not a seperate dash as you seem to think it is you will have to lift the whole thing off ,then you will most likely find a mouse nest and they have chewed the wires ,this is very common

Hi, should be held on with 6 self tapping screws from the rear. Once off the tractor it is held together with screws and plastic clips.

  • Anonymous Nov 11, 2010

    Hi Jim,

Once the panel board is off the tractor (6 screws and a speedo cable) the only thing that holds the panel together is the 4 clips, two at the top and two at the bottom. On the rear of the unit there should be two screws holding a cover on. Remove them and then you should see 8 more screws. Remove them and the front should seperate from the rear as long as you release the clips. Hope this helps.

Where is the voltage regulator on a kubota zg 327 mower

The voltage regulator on a Kubota ZG327 mower is typically located within the electrical system of the mower, often near the battery or the engine. The exact location can vary depending on the specific model year and design of the mower. Here are some general steps you can take to locate the voltage regulator:
  1. Check the Operator's Manual: The best place to start is by consulting the operator's manual for your Kubota ZG327 mower. The manual should provide information about the location of the voltage regulator and other electrical components.
  2. Inspect the Engine Compartment: Open the engine compartment of the mower and look for any electrical components that resemble a voltage regulator. The voltage regulator is usually a rectangular or square-shaped component with wires connected to it.
  3. Follow the Wiring: Trace the wiring from the battery and alternator to locate where they connect to the voltage regulator. This can give you an idea of its general location.
  4. Look Near the Battery: Voltage regulators are often located near the battery, as they play a role in regulating the charging of the battery.
  5. Consult a Service Manual: If you're having trouble locating the voltage regulator, you might want to refer to a service manual for your specific mower model. Service manuals often include detailed diagrams and information about the various components and their locations.
  6. Online Resources and Forums: You can also search online for resources specific to your Kubota ZG327 model. Online forums, community websites, and Kubota-specific websites might have discussions or guides related to the location of the voltage regulator.
  7. Professional Assistance: If you're unable to locate the voltage regulator on your own, consider seeking assistance from a professional technician or a Kubota dealer. They will have experience with your specific mower model and can help you locate and diagnose any electrical issues.

Yes I have a Kubota ZG 124e. It will start but will shut off after about 30seconds. Just looking for some ideas on what could be causing this?

Dirty pilot jets or clogged pilot jets. You will have to remove the jets from the carb, then ream them with air pressure or a small piece of wire. Hold it up to the light to make sure you can see through the small hole.

I need a wiring diagram for a Kubota B7800,current to fuel solenoid keep dropping off.

Would check ignition switch, maybe you can just spray liberally with electric contact cleaner in every opening you can find and then blow out with compressed air before it dries.

I have a new Kubota L4701 with 14.5 hours. My engine warning light has come on and is constant. I have seen no blinking or heard any buzzers with this. Error codes are P0203 & P2148. Any ideas?

p0203 is bad injector circuit on number 3. P2148 is also related to that because it is high circuit voltage on that injector, check the injector with a meter for opens and also be sure the ground and connector is ok.
