If f22 lightning 3 was written for an earlier version of Windows then you need to have Windows 8 run in that mode when you play the game. It is called compatibility mode.
Sorry for losing your photos. Been there done that too. It sounds like you might need to reinstall the driver. This is what you should do. Go to start, control panel. Next open the system icon. You should see a tab that says hardware. Click on the hardware tab. You should see the device manager button . Click on it. Look down the plus signs and locate a flash drive or something like that. Click th plus sign. Double click on what drops down. You now will see troubleshoot button. Follow the prompts. Also there should be a Driver tab there as well. Click on that and install the driver. Hope this helps. In the future you might what to get a little flash drive to install your pictures on. It is a easy and inexpensive way to store your pictures and you can carry it in your pocket.
f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway. If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.
TAKE 3 SCREWS OUT THAT HOLD THE BOTTOM FRONT PIECE REACH UP BEHIND AND ON THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM THERE IS A ROUND PLASTIC DOOHICKEY PULL IT DOWN ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OR AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND IT WILL UNLOCK THE DOOR. I WOULD UNPLUG UNIT FIRST. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE F22 THING. MY JUNKER DOES THE SAME THING PERIODICALLY, I UNPLUG AND REPLUG IT TO CORRECT
