Moved photos to folder on memory card and phone crashed and now wont even turn on

If you're photos are saved in your phone's internal memory, transfer them first to the memory card.
To move files from the phone to the card, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, tap Menu.
2. Tap My Files.
3. Tap Phone at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the desired folder.
5. Tap the desired file.
6. Tap Options.
7. Tap Move to.
8. Tap Memory card.
9. Tap the desired folder.
10. Tap Open.
11. Tap Move to.
Once you have transferred your photos to the card, the next step would be transferring those photos from the card to your computer.
To move files from the card to the computer, perform the following steps:
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the top of your phone.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer.
3. Click File Transfer on the phone.
4. If required, tap OK on the phone to exit to the main screen.
5. On the computer, in the Removable Disk dialog box, click to select Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer, and click OK.
6. Navigate to the file on your memory card that you wish to copy.
7. Right-click the file and click Copy.
8. Navigate to the desired folder on your computer.
9. Right-click and click Paste.
10. When you are finished transferring files, tap Back on the phone.
11. Tap OK to exit the card reader mode.
12. Disconnect the USB cable from your phone and from your computer.

Hello, try this way: How to Easily Save Photos to SD Card
Just plug your LG phone into computer, and open the software on computer, then you can see the phone files and choose the photos as you like.

press option --move-- select folder from memory card and move it to memory card

Usually the photos need to be in a particular folder on the memory card for the phone to recognise them. Usually something like Pictures or Photos and they must have capital letters or small letters in the right places. If you can remember the names of the folders before you formatted and make them again now, it should work.

1.start your phone and access main MENU and then find out FILE MANAGER icon from menu,it may be located in application folder or settings folder.Their will be two sections one PHONE MEMORY and MEMORY CARD ,first locate your photo files (it may be in phone memory - images) and select your destination photo files,and select OPTIONS -ORGANISE -COPY TO FOLDER and select MEMORY CARD (you can copy it to any folder of the memory card)

Before doing the steps pls format the memory card first

To transfer pictures to memory card follow the steps below:

1. Remove the memory card slot cover, located on the upper right side of the handset
2. Insert a microSD memory card into the memory card slot, until it locks in place
3. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
4. Select My Stuff (7)
5. Highlight Graphics, using the navigation keys
6. Press the left soft key for Options
7. Select Open (1)
8. Highlight desired Photo, using the navigation keys
9. Press the left soft key for Options
10. Select either Move (4) or Copy (5)
11. Select either Selected (1) or Multiple (2)
    • If Multiple, highlight each Photo, using the navigation keys
    • Press the key to check each Photo’s box

- Go to the images folder
- Select one photo (any photo)
-Go to the menu you access after pressing the book liney looking button at the bottom of the screen located next to 'view'
- In that menu, select 'Mark/Unmark' and select all the photos you want to put onto memory card.
- In the same menu as 'Mark/Unmark' is another option 'Move' which you will select after the photo selection process
- In the 'move' menu, you have two options, move to 'handset' or 'external memory' You will choose 'External memory'
- You can tell what photos are on the memory card because at the bottom of the photo menu (where the photos are like thumbnail images) is the round information i button, and next to it will appear what looks like a memory card or something of the sort icon depending on what photo is selected.
- There is a folder in the 'My Stuff' menu labeled 'External Memory'. Check there to see what things are on your memory card.
- I believe this process is same goes for music files also

Have you formatted memory card in phone before you started storing data on it? By formatting the memory card it will set up folders which the phone will look at to determine different types of data, i.e. photo folder holds photos, video folder holds mp4 &3gp, and music folder holds mp3 etc.
Then when your memory card is connected to your pc drag and drop data into correct folders and then phone should be able to recognise the different types of data. Hope that helps?
Only other thing I can think is that your memory card is too large to be recognised by your phone? It will only support upto and including 2gb Micro SD cards.

do you have a memory card? if you do,you can select the memory card target and save the music there. or you can move the music from phone memory folder to memory card folder by highlighting the song,select options and select the move option,the go to your memory card folder and select "move here" option,and you can also do it the other way round. you can also use the move to folder option if it allows you to
