Question about Dacor PCS130 Preference Electric Single Oven
I have a Dacor ECPS130 oven installed in a kitchen island. Liquid was spilled down the front of the oven, the display went crazy and then the oven went into self-cleaning mode, the door locked an I couldn't stop it. I shut off power to the oven and the door unlocked. I removed the front panel and cleaned off the membrane panel and mopped up all the liquid. After reinstalling the panel and restoring power the panel functions fine, all the controls react properly except that the fan runs continuously and I can't get it to stop. I've tried hitting the high-limit reset switch with no luck. I ran a resistance test across the switch and it is open.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated or even directions to a schematic.
Hi, Dacor has a Technical Manual that may help you with your problem. It has a ECS wall mount oven but does not list a ECPS. Is your listing of the model correct? Here is a link to download the Technical Manual. https://www.scribd.com/doc/14008662/Dacor-Technical-Manual
Hope it helps.

SOURCE: Dacor Oven Won;t Heat
power surges can short out the electonics in appliances. If you can locate where the tech sheet is and I would say its behind the control panel on top, look at the wiring diagram and see if there are any replaceable fuse's. Or a resetable fuse for the heating element. If not check to see if power is getting to the main control bord. If there is power there you may need to replace the control.

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.

You probably tripped a safety thermostat in the back of each oven. If you turn off the breaker and find a way to pull the units out you could probably remove the rear panel and reset the thermostat by pushing in a button on the back of the open thermo. Some thermo's aren't resettable though so you'd have to buy a replacement.

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.
I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.
Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.
