The washer is locked (Lc) To unlock the controls press and hold
the "END OF CYCLE SIGNAL" until the Control Locked status light turns off then release the button.
reset is not necessary. on front panel you will find a button marked something along the lines of child lock or lock out or panel lock... press and hold that button for 3 - 5 seconds and that should release controls to you.
The Control Lock is a designed safety feature that enables the us
to lock the control panel to prevent small children from manipulating
the controls and accidentally starting the appliance.
The
controls can be easily locked or unlocked by pressing and holding
the following button on the front panel:
Whirlpool Duet Washer -
Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.
I found this solution elsewhere, so I can't take credit for it. It
seems a small piece of dirt gets stuck between the camera case and the
button to take the picture. The button doesn't release fully, and it
acts like the shutter button is pressed halfway down. Try running your
finger over the top of the button in a circle to release it.
door locked?? or control locked???? if control locked look to the far rigthset of buttons and the lowest one should say control lock(very small print) or a picture of a loc. hold it in for 305 secs and control lock will release
