Where is the reset button for the Controls Locked to be released??

The contorls locked button is on and I can't use the machine. Where is the reset button on the washer? Mine is a Duet HT, it's about 7 years old.

    duet. no lights at all.I tried to hold end of cycle down for 5 seconds. nothing changed, my wife said she had same problem and held 2 buttons down for a reset but which 2 she can't remember?........ ....nothing

Have no idea what happened. The controls locked light is on. Will unplugging the machine reset??? As far as I know, the machine was not in use.
Some machine can be locked by pushing the lock button and holding it for 3 seconds. To undo repeat the process.

How do I reset a Whirlpool Duet washer? About 4 years old, just has the "Control Locked" light on...
reset is not necessary.  on front panel you will find a button marked something along the lines of child lock or lock out or panel lock...  press and hold that button for 3 - 5 seconds and that should release controls to you.

I found this solution elsewhere, so I can't take credit for it. It seems a small piece of dirt gets stuck between the camera case and the button to take the picture. The button doesn't release fully, and it acts like the shutter button is pressed halfway down. Try running your finger over the top of the button in a circle to release it.
