Replace the door latch. Fault code F22 is for the door latch.

f21 implies that there is a drain pump problem, u may have abd pump or clogged pump or hoses?

That error is a control board error. You might want to try unplugging the power for 5 minutes to see if it resets. If you using the pause cancel and start sequence don't work then you need to replace the control board.

To remove the error display, press Pause/Off or Pause/Cancel twice.



If Pause/Off or Pause/Cancel does not work:

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.

NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

What error are you recieving?

F22 is an exhaust blockage. Machine shuts off to prevent overheating and causing a fire. Check the exhaust in the back for blockage. Also clean lint screen before each load to decrease the chance of exhaust blockage

Your washer water valve inlet screens may be dirty / covered with debris and need cleaned. Some hoses have additional screens installed at the faucett connection depending on who did the install process. Low water pressure will also cause this code.

If it is new, you should call maytag to repair under warranty terms. The unit could be defective.
