Question about Motorola Mobility EQ7 Wireless Bluetooth HiFi Stereo Speaker 89243N 1 ea

1 Answer

I'm having a problem with my Motorokr EQ7. No audio. Bluetooth is connecting just fine (however all of a sudden I have to reconnect Bluetooth every single time), but the Droid X audio won't shut off and no audio comes from the EQ7. New batteries in the Motorokr, several reboots of both it and and Droid X, calls to Verizon and Motorola were no help, Motorola's supposed to call me back Monday, regular business hours. I've had both devices for 2 months with no problems, the EQ7 has worked perfectly, even earlier this morning, I'm out of ideas. Thanks, Patrick

I am pairing EQ7 to iPad. Sound is garbled and intermitent. Batteries are fine

Thats because your only paired with the phone. if you go to settings (assuming you have an android o.s) then "wireless and networks" then "bluetooth setting" you will see it only says "connected to (phone) not audio. This means your not completely paired. You will have to reset the speaker. Thats done by pressing the "skip back" and "skip forward" buttons at the same time until all the lights blink at the same time on the speaker. Usually 10 seconds. Then try to repair with the speaker. The code it will ask for (assuming you didnt change it from the factory settings)is 0000. That should work. Let me know if you ever have a problem with it being stuck on mute. Im still trying to figure that one out.

My gm bluetooth loses its pairing every time car is turned off and I have to re do everything

Try doing this: Ask your dealer for the latest TMB concerning bluetooth and the connection problems with a mobile phone. There is a software update for that, and you'll have to take it to the dealership - the bulletin number is #08-08-46-008 After the upgrade, it should work flawlessly! :)

Get the mobile to service center, no other way. My friends mobile speaker also stopped working, on giving to service center they repaired in just few minutes. May be some loose connection inside it.
