Sounds like the fan motor is at fault , 1 it could have bearing problems
2 the capacitors if it has are at fault , to correct check fan with out power to see if it runs free if it runs smooth then i suspect the capacitors are at fault , you will need a megger to check both items , make sure you check that they both accept a charge of 500 volts and that they discharge , if one does not , then change for a knew one ,

My tablesaw will no longer run. I plug it in and turn it on, the blade partially moves and I hear a humming sound

The motor is receiving power, and that is the humming noise.
The humming sound also says the motor is overheating and will burn out.

Turn saw off.
Use hand and manually rotate blade to see if it rolls free.

For example on my saw, the blade barely turned because a bearing was rusted.
I soaked the bearing in wd-40 and 3-in-one oil and salvaged it.
Look for oil ports on each end of motor, and on bearings.
Clean pulleys and belt that connect blade to motor.

If your blade rolls free, and the motor shaft moves freely, then the motor winding has gone bad, so replace motor.

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on table saw or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Motor is humming loudly.

Motors hum, and your right, it could be no worse than normal.

I would be suspect that there is a gear stripped in the gearcase, since this is a direct drive washing machine.

Reassemble the motor back onto the washer. Run it through a cycle manually (rotate the timer by hand) until the motor turns, then look to see if it's turning. If it is, or even more so, if it pumps water out of the tub, then it is probably the stripped out gearcase.

Dryer makes a loud buzzing noise then quits working.

Sounds like the motor's done. That thing is probably the start-run switch. Not worth trying to fix on an old motor. I've found dryer motors to be fairly generic, you should be able to find a replacement. I use Repairclinic.com when I can't get parts locally.

Loud noise when spinning

the only part that makes a loud noise is your bearings m8 other than that could be a bra wire stuck inbetween your drum and casing m8
