I just purchased an Unlisted Kenneth Cole watch. I can not set the time, date and the watch is not running. I tried to pull out the crown ( the only botton on the watch to work with) and it came completely out. When I put it back in I could change the time hands, but could not change the date and the watch will not run. Is this watch a piece of **** or am I doing something wrong? Why would this watch be sold without instructions on how to get the watch to actually run? Basically is this just an instance where you get what you pay for? I am really irrated as this was a gift for my son and the watch clearly does not run.

It does seem strange that no instructions come with your watch, although this seems to be a fairly common problem.

If your watch has only a crown wheel and no other buttons, perhaps they feel that instructions are not needed.

In any case, the crown wheel should not come out when you pull it, as this is clearly what you are intended to do in order to set the time.

I think you have a faulty product and suggest that you return it to the supplier and ask for a replacement. Even a cheap watch should work! I have bought several cheap watches and they have always worked for years.

Pull out crown to the time setting position (second click) and set time to 5.30 pm or am. Push crown back completely. Pull out crown to the date setting position (first click) and set it to 26th, then pull out crown further out to the time setting position (second click) and adjust watch hands forwards until the date changes to 27th. Date is changing at midnight, so, continue to adjust hands forward to the right time. Rate me, plz.
