Cant find my cd to install my lexmark x3550 can u tell me what to do

I suggest not to plug the printer to your computer yet. Download and install the software first. For the software, click on this link: http://bit.ly/aYhzo4. Choose the version of the operating system of your computer by clicking on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown found below the page. Download and install the software. 1. From CONTROL PANEL choose ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS
2. Uninstal ALL Lexmark stuff.
3. Reboot
4. Download latest software from lexmark.com for your scanner.
5. Install ONLY the latest driver (not from your CD)
6. Reboot.
