Software missing i want to connect my web cam uo to my computer but i don't have the software for it anymore can you help me

install application for your cam if it is in cd / dvd comes with your cam if not then download any virtual cam
from www.manycam.com and install it to use your web cam

Uninstall your current drivers and re-install latest drivers, then restart computer. If its a laptop it should work now and if you are using desktop, don't forget to connect your web-cam chord :)

The very first step is of course to check your web cam connection. Most web cams use the USB port to connect to the PC, so check if your USB cable is properly plugged. If this fails, the next step would be to un install the software that came with your web cam. Use the Add or Remove Programs feature in the Control Panel. If that does not work you can use a third party un installer.

After un installing the software, restart your PC and then reinstall the web cam software. In most cases this will solve the problems. Depending on the software, you might need to unplug your web cam during the software installation.If your problem is not fixed then you have to buy a new one.

Try to uninstall any other video software that might conflict with the driver of your Microsoft LifeCam

Go to your computer's manufacturer's website or the web-cam manufacturer's website and search for the web-cam drivers for your computer model and operating system. Download the proper driver setup and run it, this will install the software for you to use the web-cam.

hmm..i recommend updating the driver for your web cam or install software for your web cam and if the software has a troubleshooter or diagnostics then use that. Good luck man i hope this helps.

You may need drivers for the Web Cam If you have these install them or if they have been installed install them again the reboot the computer and the drivers should install properly if that does not work when you reboot un plug the Web Cam then plug back in again

If it isnt listed under hardware then something may have happened to cause the computer to delete the file "virus protection or firewall" and it may be that your computer just isnt reconizing the software anymore. if you have an installation disk try to use it and reinstall the stuff and go from there.

goto www.logitech.com click on support and drivers and search for you model number download sotfware install and then plug in the cam.
