I have just bought this scanner UBC244CLT and finde that the instruction book is useless, I have been unable to get anywhere with it except to put the time on, the instructions are clear enough for that - what I bought it for is as a aircraft message scanner and have found that impossible to program on. I have found out that aircraft use 108-137, but how do I program that into this box? Aubrey Townsend

You are correct regarding the frequencies used by aircraft, but unfortunately your scanner does not cover this range. The UBC244CLT covers 66-87.265, 137-173-995, and 406-512MHz. To receive the aircraft band (108-137MHz) on an economically-priced scanner you will need to purchase the BC370CRS or UBC370CRS.
